Deposit
A deposit of one full night’s accommodation is required for all bookings. Full payment of holiday is payable on arrival (less any deposit paid). Bookings for one night are payable in full prior to arrival.

Cash, cheque, debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro) can make payment.

 

Cancellation charges
Deposit for 1 night’s accommodation is non-refundable, but may be transferable, subject to availability.

When Credit card details are held on file for an individual and the guest cancels the booking or fails to arrive then charges will be made as per the cancellation charges below.

Individuals will be sent written confirmation of cancellation and informed of any incurred charges, as follows:

Notice/Cancellation not received – may result in a charge of 100% of holiday value

 

Check in /Check out times
Check in time from noon till 7pm.With prior arrangement we will attempt to accommodate individuals requiring earlier/later check in times but this is at the discretion of the Proprietors and cannot be guaranteed.

Check out
We request that rooms are vacated by 10:00 am on day of departure (Provision is available for left luggage). No allowance can be made for an early departure.

Car parking
We have a small car park, but cannot guarantee parking spaces. Also, we cannot accept any responsibility for vehicles, or their contents, parked on the premises. Cars are parked entirely at the Owners risk.

 

Rooms
We operate a strict non-smoking policy. Smoking is not permitted on the premises.. Individuals that do not adhere to this policy may be charged for: additional cleaning, damaged items, replacement costs, loss of revenue and may be expected to leave the premises.

We ask guests to not bring any take away meals into the rooms as spillages and odours are difficult to remove.

The Summerlands guesthouse accepts no responsibility for guests personal items left in their rooms

 

Please Note
Any damage to the property caused by guests, or their associates during their stay must be paid for in full, including loss of revenue. This also includes any inappropriate or threatening behaviour, which could result in the individual/s being expected to leave the premises.
